Repair A Piano With Sargent Steam
Repairing or restoring a piano takes the great skill and precision of a professional. It usually involves scrapers and solvents to remove the bushings and ivories. It can be laborious and time consuming but with Sargent Steam, it’s quick and easy.
He’ll use the bare nozzle to loosen the bushings and the ivories then clean, repair or replace them. Steaming closes the balance hole and keeps the key from “chirping” when the hole does not hold the piano wire tight enough.
Use a soft brush to steam clean the keys and remove oil and embedded dirt caused by your fingertips. Using steam to repair a piano leaves plenty of time for tickling the ivories.

I admit I do not remember to use my steamer as often as I should, but family does. I am forwarding this email from you to my 4 daughters, two of whom I think have steamers now. Thank you for your continued good suggestions.
